Tamy Tanzilli, invited to the São Paulo French Executive Women’s debate at the Residence of the Consul of France
Julie Bélizon, for the FEW’s Team
The São Paulo French Executive Women is the professional network of French active women in Brazil who aim to boost their career. Its mission is to promote professional exchanges by being an accessible and solid network. Created recently by four professional women from different backgrounds, the network has 140 members who are now called "FEW".
Since October 2017, the meetings alternate between breakfast and Happy Hour. The first events were aiming to bring the members together so that they know each other and start to exchange. In February, organizers Claire, Julie, Isabeau and Amandine decided to try a new format that was important to them: the debate with questions from the public.
This event brought together 60 people. The FEW invited three women - two French top executives and Tamy Tanzilli, a Franco-Brazilian lawyer and business owner from GT Lawyers Law Firm - to discuss issues such as “Is there a strategy to evolve professionally when you are a woman?”, “Is there a feminine management style?” Or "What did the expatriation bring to you and what are the difficulties? "
Thus, Tamy has been able to share her experience with the members of the network by explaining the progress of her career but also responding spontaneously and authentically to the questions she was asked. She has publicized the firm to the greatest number by highlighting its evolution since its creation in 2013.
The meeting was a real success and was followed by a breakfast, as it is essential for the French Executive Women to create a link between the participants.
In the medium term, one of the objectives is to continue to diversify the meetings with conferences, debates and working groups, and also to create partnerships.
